Brook + Associates is proud to announce that, on April 20, 2009 District of North Vancouver Council approved a Development Permit for the District’s first mixed-use development within the Marine Drive Corridor. The project includes approximately 17,000 sf of commercial space and 129 apartment units targeted to first-time home buyers and empty nesters. The project, named “District Crossing”, is the first transit-oriented medium-density development in the District.
Brook led the project team, including Letkeman Architects and Bunt & Associates, in an extensive community consultation process as well as negotiations with District staff. We congratulate our client, Qualex Landmark Group, and wish them every success in the realization of this major achievement.
