Gary Pooni, President of Brook + Associates, has been awarded one of Business in Vancouver’s prestigious “Top Forty Under 40” citations. Gary was honoured at a special evening ceremony held in downtown Vancouver on January 28, 2010.
In the six years since joining Brook + Associates, Gary has personally managed more than 60 major land development projects in 23 municipalities throughout Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island, the Sea-to-Sky Corridor, Fraser Valley, Okanagan, and Alberta.
Gary is active in the Urban Development Institute, serving on numerous committees and chairing the U40 group. At the same time, Gary is extensively involved with the Indo-Canadian Friendship Society (ICFS), his charitable non-profit organization that builds sustainable infrastructure projects (wastewater disposal, domestic water distribution, road/sidewalk building) in impoverished rural parts of the Punjab.
